The top official says HMIL’s push towards fortifying SUV supremacy continued in November with SUVs contributing a total 68.8 percent in domestic sales.

As the year is about to end in a month, the leading car maker Hyundai has receved an overwhelming reponse from the Indian customers in 2024. The company said it has received decent response in November with a total sales of 61,252 units.
According to the details shared by the comapny via official release, it has retailed over 48,246 units in domestic market. The export numbers stood at 13,006 units this year. When it comes to overall (Domestic + Export) YTD sales (Jan-Nov 2024), a total 7,09,041 units have been sold out.

Commenting about the same, company’s Whole-time Director and Chief Operating Officer, Tarun Garg, said, “HMIL’s push towards fortifying SUV supremacy continued in November with SUVs contributing 68.8% of our total Domestic sales. We also bolstered HMIL’s presence in the hinterland of India, by achieving highest ever monthly rural contribution of 22.1% in November. Our innovative Hy-CNG technology continues to strengthen HMIL’s CNG sales, with a 14.4% contribution in November 2024.”
Upcoming Current EV
Meanwhile, Hyundai is gearing up to introduce the Creta in electric avatar. The company has not shared any launch related details as yet. However, some reports suggested that the model might arrive in the market at the start of next year.
