The French carmaker Citroen has announced its plans to update some of its products in India. Soon after making the announcement, an updated model of Aircross was spied during the testing phase in Chennai. It has been reported that the vehicle is ready to hit the market in the coming months with improved driving dynamics and, updated interior with new features.
The model was spotted having minimal camouflage, revealing all the exterior, showcasing noticeable cosmetic changes from the outside.
Here’s What To Expect
Going by the images, the car looks the same as the outgoing version, retaining the same style statement and road presence. However, the company is expected to offer projector headlamps, black roof rails, and black ORVM. It is also likely to retain the same style 4-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels.
Interior
When it comes to the cabin, the interior will be treated with brown upholstery, ditching the normal cream-coloured details, which have been seen in the current version. As far as the features are concerned, the SUV might get automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, a digital instrument cluster, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that will support all the wireless car connect technology, including Android, Apple and Auto CarPlay.
Engine
Under the hood, the company is likely to keep the same 1.2-litre naturally aspirated and turbo-petrol engines. These units will be paired with a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission.
