Introducing a set of special offers in September, Honda will be selling three of its key models the Amaze compact sedan, the City mid-size sedan and the Elevate SUV – at a discount rate to automobile enthusiasts in India. To attract a wider section of prospective buyers, the brand will be offering cash discounts, exchange bonuses and accessory packages. Here is a breakdown of the discount provided.
Amaze Compact Sedan
Honda’s entry-level sedan, the Amaze, will be offered to customers at a flat discount of Rs 10,000. The discount varies depending on the trim, but does narrows down the price of the car to rival other compact sedans in the market. Further available for prospective buyers will be an exchange bonus of Rs 40,000 on the ZX trim, which takes the total discount offered to Rs 50,000.
Honda has also come up with an exchange offer for customers planning to trade in their older car. On select variants, the brand will be giving away free accessories worth a few thousand rupees. In a practical estimation, it should include seat covers, floor mats and basic chrome detailing, which shall reduce the need for additional spending.
The City Mid-Size Sedan
Perhaps the company’s most sold model, the Honda City, won’t have a large cash cut. Instead, Honda will provide offers structured around accessory packs bundled at no additional cost. At specific dealerships of the brand, the City could be handed over with an extended warranty coverage, car care kits and infotainment upgrades, likely worth Rs 32,000.
Also available for lucky customers will be exchange bonuses of up to Rs 60,000. Honda is looking to target customers planning an upgrade from older sedans like the Hyundai Verna, Maruti Ciaz or even the company’s own previous City models.
Elevate SUV
The Elevate SUV will be offered at a cash discount of Rs 15,000 and also an exchange bonus of up to Rs 64,000. The compact SUV had been introduced to compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Grand Vitara and could now attract a wider set of automobile lovers, eyeing a premium car in their garage. The dual discount structure replicates the September deductions on the Amaze, but in a higher price band.
