Ever since the Mercedes-Benz A-Class launched in the Indian market, the model has received an overwhelming response from customers. From styling to performance to road presence, the car somehow checked all the boxes. As every single carmaker is shifting towards EV, replacing their ICE models, the German carmaker plans to retain it and keep on selling till 2028.
The news has been confirmed by the head of production at Mercedes-Benz, Jorg Burzer. He said the model falls in the hot-selling category in the European market. The company had a plan to discontinue the vehicle in 2026. However, after seeing the response and sales figures, the company decided to push the dates and keep it in the fleet for a few more years.
