The German carmaker Audi is all set to release the updated or facelift version of RSQ8 in India. The launch is scheduled for tomorrow (Feb 17) in the country. It has been reported that the forthcoming version will get some noticeable updates from both inside and outside, making it better and bolder than ever.
Most of the details are under wrap as yet. Even the price bracket for the same is not known yet. However, it has been speculated that the model is likely to fall between Rs 2.20cr to Rs 2.30 cr (all ex-showroom).
What’s New to Expect?
Talking about the road presence, RSQ8 will hit the market with a refreshed style statement, featuring an updated bumper, iconic blacked-out front grill with the company’s new 3D logo at the front, matrix LED headlight setup, paired with DRLs and connected taillight unit. From inside, the vehicle will get an updated cabin, treated with new sports seats and dual dual-screen package with all the wireless car connect technology including Android, Apple and Auto CarPlay
Notable Features
The other notable highlights are fully electric adjustable powered front seats, including four-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, driver assistance systems, wireless charging, multiple charging ports, multi-function steering wheel with tilt and telescopic functions.
Engine
Under the hood, the latest RSQ8 will use a robust 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine. It will generate a maximum power of 640bhp and 850Nm, which has been increased by 40bhp and 50Nm compared to the current version. It will do 0-100kmph in just 3.6 seconds.
