The homegrown carmaker Tata announced the Harrier EV last year. Even the concept avatar for the same was displayed during the 2023 Auto Expo, while the production-ready version was showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Now, the mid-variant of EV has been spied on for the first time during the testing phase in India.

According to the reports, the battery-powered SUV might hit the Indian market this year. However, the exact launch date is not known yet.

Here’s What to Expect

Based on the spy images, the upcoming electric Harrier looks quite identical to its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart. It gets the same style statement from the outside, featuring a similar style tail section, flaunting identical bumpers, LED tailight and an integrated decent-sized extended spoiler.

Despite being fully covered in heavy camouflage, the model somehow revealed some significant elements from the outside. Customers can expect a similar style LED headlight, setup, and DRLs with a trending connected light bar at both ends and a signature style grille at the front with the company’s illuminated logo.

Expected Specs

The comapny has not hinted or revealed any spec-related details as yet. However, some reports suggested that the model will have a dual electric motor setup with a wheel drive configuration. This will allow the EV to offer a decent range between 400 – 500 km on a single charge.

Features

The electric SUV will hit the market with a long list of trending features. The list includes a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment with all the wireless car connect technology including Android, Apple and Auto Carplay, a touch-based HVAC panel, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, new aero-optimized 5-spoke alloy wheels, shark fin antenna and whatnot.
