The home-grown leading two-wheeler maker Royal Enfield is known for its rough and tough motorcycles worldwide. The company has been making waves under multiple segments. In a move to attract a mass audience under 450cc, it has launched a tech-loaded product Guerrilla 450.

The motorcycle was released in the country in July last year, flaunting the price tag for the base trim at Rs 2.39 lakh, while the top model goes up to Rs 2.54 lakh (all ex-showroom).

After hearing a lot of buzz about the motorcycle over the past few months, we decided to take it for a spin. In this article, we have created a list, mentioning top pointers on why Guerrilla 450 could be a wise option for those who are looking for something adventurous with decent off-road capabilities.

So, visitors, buckle up as we go for a long ride on the latest ADV in RE’s product line and tell you if investing the money in it is worth it or not.

Design and Road Presence

Royal Enfield usually does not experiment with the design and takes its signature style quite seriously. However, the Guerrilla 450, somehow broke a few rules in the book. It is safe to say that the risk was worth it as the model offers an aggressive road presence, featuring a round-shaped LED headlight setup, paired with sleek-looking indicators at both ends and LED at the back as well.

It seems like the company made sure that the Guerrilla fell on the market without any distractions. It gets no flashy frills, not much usage of plastic, and offers a very roadster kind of vibe with an athletic body with all the cuts and creases.

Comfort Level and Engine

If you are investing a bomb in any motorcycle, the second most important to keep in mind is its comfort level. Am sure no one wants an ADV, which makes them tired after covering a few kilometres. Well, this is not the case with Guerrilla 450. It is safe to say that the bike is designed for long-distance comfort, offering a comfortable riding experience, an ergonomically designed seat and a relaxed riding posture.

It uses a robust 452 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which generates a maximum power of 39 bhp at 8000 rpm and 40 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. It can be considered a perfect companion for even short-heighted people as well, a big credit goes to its low seating position.

Features

At a time, when the market is filled with motorcycles with cutting-edge technology, RE ensures its customers do not feel left out of the party. While the Guerrilla 450 maintains the classic Royal Enfield charm, it offers a long list of trending features.

The model is equipped with some top-notch safety features such as a dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS), ensuring riders land safely without skidding when brakes are applied suddenly.
